Flowing the Catarpe-valley in the north of San Pedro we will find the river San Pedro, which enables vegetation to grow. The contrast of colours between the desert´s colour and the green of the valley is simply incredible.

We propose two options for the way back. One is passing through the Devil's ravine (Quebrada del diablo), which is made of spectacular rock formations. The second option is to cross the Toro way (paso de los Toros), which was the first road, which connected San Pedro to Calama.
